What it is
Targeted price reductions or value offers that are available for a defined time or condition: share-room discounts, seasonal promotions, group/early-bird offers, or event-specific deals.

Types of discounts we offer

  1. Share/Shared room discount (double-occupancy / twin share)
  • Discount applied per person when travellers choose to share a twin/double room.
  • Typical mechanic: fixed amount off per person (e.g., USD 30/person) or a percentage (e.g., 5%).
  • Conditions: requires a minimum of 2 travellers in the same booking; limited availability for “share” in high season.
  1. Seasonal & event pricing
  • Off-season: early-year months or non-peak periods — we may offer lower base prices or complimentary upgrades.
  • Peak season & events: pricing may increase; promotions are limited and usually communicated early (e.g., early-bird for spring festivals).
  1. Time-limited promotions
  • Early-bird (book X days in advance get Y% off)
  • Last-minute (small discount if filling late availability)
  • Flash sales tied to email or social followers (expires in 48–72 hours).
  1. Group & repeat customer discounts
  • Group tiers (e.g., 6–11 pax → 7% off; 12+ pax → 12% off).
  • Returning customer credit or referral discounts (a fixed credit toward next trip or % off).

How discounts are presented

  • The discounted price is always shown with terms: validity dates, blackout dates (if any), and whether combinable with other offers.
  • We avoid “hidden conditions” — the booking flow shows discount eligibility before payment.

Rules & limitations (examples we commit to)

  • Share room discounts are only valid if both sharers are in one booking or have matching booking IDs. If a sharer cancels, price may change and the remaining traveller pays single supplement.
  • Holiday/event surcharges may override discounts (we state this explicitly).
  • Promotions cannot be combined unless stated.

Redemption & refunds

  • Discount code or promotion applied at booking; if a booking is later modified in a way that breaks promotion rules, the booking price will be recalculated and any balance due requested.
  • Refunds follow standard cancellation policy; promotional bookings are not granted special refund leniency unless specified.

How customers choose the best offer

  • We display a short comparison (Example: “Standard price vs Share-room price vs Early-bird price”), plus a recommendation line: “Best for budget-conscious solo travellers: choose ‘Share room’ and we’ll match you with another traveller (subject to availability).”
